THE HUO FAMILY FOUNDATION AWARDS EIGHTEEN NEW GRANTS TOTALLING £1.7M TO THE ARTS, EDUCATION, AND EARLY CAREER RESEARCHERS

The ˽·¿¾ãÀÖ²¿ is delighted to start the new year by making eighteen grants to the Arts, Education, and Scientific sectors, as it continues to focus its giving on education, communities, and the pursuit of knowledge.
It is pleased to award £250,000 to eleven pilot projects on the Impact of Digital Technology on Brain Development, Social Behaviours and Mental Health in Young People, lead by early career researchers based at the following UK universities: University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, University of Hertfordshire, King’s College London, University of Oxford, University College London, and the University of York.
Teach For All’s relationship with the ˽·¿¾ãÀÖ²¿ continues with a new $250,000 grant. The funding will support Teach For All’s global network and local partners as they work to transform schools and help those in less-advantaged communities attain a good education.

The Foundation will be supporting for the first time its second NYC based arts institution, the Guggenheim with a grant of $100,000 to the Gabriele Münter: Into Deep Waters exhibition, the first retrospective of the 20th century German expressionists in the United States. The show will present over 60 paintings and 18 photographs of the artist’s oeuvre.
The Ashmolean Museum will receive £75,000 towards two of its exhibitions Anselm Kiefer: Early Works, opening on 14 February and highlighting the contemporary artist’s works from 1969 to 1982, and Aphrodite: The Making of a Goddess, tracing the life of the Roman and Greek goddess.

The Foundation is awarding £200,000 to the Victoria & Albert Museum in support of one of their exhibitions, and £300,000 to The National Gallery of London in support of two exhibitions to open in 2026.
A grant of £200,000 will be awarded to the Science Museum and a grant of £250,000 will be awarded to the Natural History Museum in support of two exhibitions opening later this year.
